The development of social and economic globalization has prompted Chinese education to broaden its international horizons and teachers to learn advanced concepts and knowledge from all over the world.

Being the most developed country economically and educationally, it is advantageous for CERNET to promote domestic education with an international image by setting up teacher training bases in the U.S. The base will also give a boost to teachers’ overall teaching capabilities, ensure the safety and systemization of overseas training, and reduce costs of training in addition to establishing long term、stabilized communication with U.S. educational institutions.

Brief introduction of the program
The overseas teacher training program is the expert training program of CERNET Education, promoted to meet its partners’demands and embracing abundant training experiences and methods both domestically and abroad.

The program specializes in high-level services, centering around the widening international vision of domestic teachers, introducing advanced education concepts to China, providing teaching methods abroad and nurturing high-quality teachers for the development of Chinese courses.  CERNET Education is willing to work jointly with local governments all over China to build localized American-style teacher training bases.
