Summer and winter Camps

As the appointed dual-admission academy for UMASS, MAIA is fully responsible for UMASS’s recruiting and international cultural exchange businesses in China. To further promote the educational communication between the two nations and help Chinese parents、students, and schools get a better understanding of American education resources, UMASS-MAIA has operated many short-term summer & winter camps with Chinese high schools, including the Experimental High Dchool of Sichuan Normal University、No.2 Middle School of Guangzhou、Cixi Middle School of Ningbo、Yinzhou Wuxiang Middle School、 Xi’an Gaoxin No.1 Middle School, etc.  To welcome the 2011 Universiade, under the invitation of Education Bureau of Shenzhen, CERNET Education co-hosted The 9th Internet Summer Camp for Middle School and Elementary Students with Shenzhen Museum of Remote Education. The internet camp, as the branch of the international summer camp, has received a sincere welcome from the U.S. as organized by CERNET Education. At the beginning of 2012, CERNET Education, together with Shida Middle School, will host the “Delegation of Shida” visit Massachusetts. Over 100 students、parents and teachers are going to set foot in American next January.
