Mr. Martin Meehan visited CERNET Education and MAIA China office

2011-10-19, Vice chancellor of UMASS-Lowell, Mr. Martin Meehan，dean of computer programming Dr. Jet Wang and their delegation visited CERNET Education and MAIA China office. The president of CERNET Education board, Tsinghua University’s ex-vice chancellor Liang Youneng, CERNET Education’s deputy CEO Zhu Yidong attended the meeting. They have had a friendly meeting in the 28th floor of CERNET tower, Mr. Martin expressed his expectation for more excellent Chinese students and his dedication to help them in applying for visa and solve accommodation problems.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties exchanged gifts with good wills.

Umass-Lowell is a famous campus of UMASS system that has earned high reputation in Science-technology and Business education fields. It is also one of the four National Nanometer Research Center and the co-writer of Android system for smart phones.
